Our mission is to deepen our understanding of the principles of Catholic social teaching and then, through word and action, to help integrate these principles more fully into the life of our parish community.
Please join us; we generally meet on the first Monday of each month from October through June. Our meetings are at 7 p.m. in the Siena Room in the Saint Catherine of Siena School elementary building. For more information, please contact the Peace and Social Justice Committee.
“People say, ‘What good can one person do?
What is the sense of our small effort?’ They cannot see that we must lay one brick at a time. We can be responsible only for the one action of the present moment. But we can beg for an increase of love in our hearts that will vitalize and transform all our individual actions, and know that God will take them and multiply them, as Jesus multiplied the loaves and the fishes.” Dorothy Day
